"Tropical Art Camp" (ages 5 & up)
–Have a pirate adventure and create your very own pirate map, while learning about infamous Caribbean pirates.
–Stretch your imagination and create "crazy" tropical fish or "magical" mermaids.
–Create your own paintings, using watercolors and cray pas
–Decorate a Caribbean-themed t-shirt, sun visor, and canvas beach bag
–Limber up for a limbo contest!
–The last day, we will have a Hawaiian Luau with hula dancing, tropical fruit smoothies, and yummy Hawaiian-inspired treats!
–Projects will be age appropriate, so older kids and tweens, will love this camp as well!

"Famous Artist's CAMP" (ages 7 & up)
–Learn what it really felt like for Michaelangelo, while he painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.
–Take a "walk" through Monet's Gardens at Giverny and learn to paint like an Impressionist.
–Create your own "Starry Night" like Vincent Van Gogh
–Travel to Spain and paint using only one color or create a self portrait, like Pablo Picasso
–"Splatter" paint like modern artist Jackson Pollack
–Parents can join us on the last day for an art show and reception

Tweens if you love art, this is the camp for you! You will be able to explore a variety of art mediums and have input on type of projects to create.

Paint a canvas, explore different collage techniques learn Creative Journaling, design your own Artist Trading Cards, and much more.

Splatters Create & Play
Create and Play" CLASS (4 and under)
Get messy and have a great time exploring the "World of Art" with your child.
"Play" with paints, stamps, glue, collage, glitter, and much more! Sure to bring a smile to everyone's face.

Create-a-Class
(60 minutes)
Ages 3 and older.
If you have 3 or more kids, you can drop them off for an hour workshop. Choose a time that fits into your schedule.
They can choose which projects they would like to create (the group must work on the same project).
$15-$20/per child/per hour.

"Famous Artist's Class"
Splatter's "Famous Artist" class will let your budding artist explore the styles of Monet, Picasso, Seurat and other famous
artists while creating their own masterpieces using paint, pastels, and collage techniques.

Create-an-Art Club
(60 minutes)
For ages 10+. Set up your own art club with 3 or more friends.
Choose a time that fits into your schedule. Come in after school and create different art projects-you get to choose! This is a great outlet for those who love art and want to be creative in a fun atmosphere.
Bring in your own music!
$15/per child/per hour.

Create-a-Poet
Day One: Students will look at different forms of the poem. They will look at word patterns and imagery. Then they will read some classic poems by Shel Silverstein, Dr. Seuss, and Robert Frost, to identify patterns.
Day Two: Students will free write, while looking at photos of nature, people, and ideas. They will learn rythmn and beats of poems.
Day Three: Students will study the silly poem. They will put opposites together and make up words, to further pratice rythmn.
Day Four: On the last day, students will write and draw an image that reflects their visions of poetry. They will also receive a list of children's publishers and magazines of poems. During the second half of class, students will have the opportunity to read a poem to an audience of family and friends!
– Class is run by Carly Huegelmann, who has a master's degree in writing and teaches at several Chicago area colleges.

Create-a-Writer
(60 minutes)
This class will allow children to explore their creativity through both writing and illustrating. Participants will learn about dialogue, point of view, characterization, voice, place/setting, illustration, and more.
During the last class, parent's will be invited to a "Wine(Juice) and Cheese" reception where their young authors will be able to read their stories aloud.
At the start of the workshop children will receive a hard cover journal and a pencil.
